½cupiceoptional, if you want a colder, thicker blend
Instructions
Step 1 — Add Your Liquids First
Start by pouring the coconut water into the blender. Adding liquids first helps everything blend more smoothly and prevents leafy greens from sticking to the bottom.
Step 2 — Toss in the Greens
Add the fresh spinach. Don’t be shy—pack it in! Spinach is incredibly mild in flavor, so even large amounts blend beautifully without overpowering the smoothie.
Step 3 — Add Your Fruits
Next, add the kiwi, pineapple chunks, and banana. If you're using frozen fruit, even better—you'll get a naturally thicker, more frosty texture.
Step 4 — Add Extras
Drizzle in the lemon juice and sprinkle in the chia seeds, if you’re using them. These little additions elevate the flavor and boost nutrition.
Step 5 — Blend Until Silky Smooth
Start blending on low, then gradually increase to high speed. Blend for 45–60 seconds, or until everything looks smooth, creamy, and gorgeously green.
Step 6 — Adjust and Serve
Taste your smoothie. Want it sweeter? Add a splash of pineapple juice or half a banana. Prefer it thinner? Add a little more coconut water.
Once you're happy, pour into chilled glasses and sip away.
Notes
Use baby spinach if you prefer an even milder flavor.
Frozen pineapple makes the smoothie extra cold and thick—highly recommended.
If you want it creamier, swap the water for unsweetened almond milk.
To turn this into a meal replacement, add 1 scoop of vanilla protein powder.
